Support for children to encourage motor development, mobility and independence.
Understanding your child’s needs
The discussion starts with the family’s concerns and movement difficulties in everyday activities. An individual assessment helps identify goals suited to the child’s age and abilities, taking available medical guidance into account.
What happens during care?
The assessment is explained to the child and family in accessible language while respecting the child’s comfort. Movement activities suited to their needs can be discussed and reviewed, without imposing the same programme or number of sessions on every child.
The family’s role in follow-up
Discuss suitable everyday activities and how progress can be reviewed. If medical advice or another intervention is needed, the next step is discussed. Contact PhysioFlex in M’hamid Sud, Marrakech, to explain your child’s needs before requesting an appointment.
From play to a useful goal
An enjoyable activity can support a movement goal, such as moving from sitting to standing or joining an accessible game. Comparing every child with siblings is not useful; a photograph or isolated delay cannot establish a diagnosis. Their history and medical assessment matter.
What families can observe
Notice where movement becomes easier or harder, tolerance and participation. Ask for a clear demonstration of suitable home activities and when to stop for discomfort. Goals should be reviewed with the family rather than imposing an intensive routine they cannot realistically maintain.
